This is an awesome book. It touched my life. I shared it with someone who was struggling to cope with caring for an terminally ill parent and it helped her so much. The author doesn't tell you what to do. It isn't an advice book. It isn't about psychological research. It is the true story of a family's personal experience. It is about how through their faith and love the experience became meaningful and precious when it might have been easy to be overcome by exhaustion, resentment, and grief. I loved the part when Mama was asked about how she would respond if her loved one was terminally ill and she said she would walk with them as far as she could and then she would let them go. I wish I could quote her exactly, but I've loaned the book out again.Product details

This book was a quick read and is very useful to anyone dealing with a terminally ill person,relative,or just grieving. I found it a way to keep the history in your family and a way to heal. This book warmed my heart as I grieve for my loved one.It makes you look at that persons overall life and recognize all the lives that have been touched by your loved one that is passing or has passed. I read this book and felt like I knew Mama ..and by writing this story the author continues to allow Mama to touch lives.Thank You
